Mia A Thomas Endowment

This endowment provides scholarship(s) to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student attending the University of Central Florida.

Established in June 2016 by her loving husband Steve Thomas to honor her commitment to the CPA profession. Mia Thomas, CPA, CGMA is the Director of Customized Learning at the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, served as the 2015-2016 Chair of the FICPA, she is a Trustee Emeritus of the FICPA Scholarship Foundation, Past Chair of the FICPA Women’s Leadership Committee, Past Chair of the Central PAC Trustees, and Past Legislative Chair and Past President of the FICPA Central Florida Chapter. She is an AICPA Council Member and past member of the AICPA Minority Initiatives Committee.
