Martin M Prague Endowment
This endowment provides scholarship(s) to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student attending a partnering college or university.
Thanks to a generous contribution and pledge from Richard J. Walsh, vice president of Darden Restaurants, the Martin M. Prague Endowment was established. This fund not only recognizes the achievements of Martin “Marty” Prague as a CPA and a recognized business leader, but also provides a lasting legacy to fund scholarships to future generations of CPAs. Prague was an active member of the FICPA since 1972 and was a member of the FICPA Scholarship Foundation Board of Trustees since 1993, served as Foundation president in 2003-2004 and was as an Emeritus Trustee. Marty was a recognized leader in the CPA profession and had a history of dedicating his life to the future of Florida CPAs.
