Gerald J Cavanaugh Endowment
This endowment provides scholarship(s) to a 4th year, 5th year, or graduate accounting student attending a partnering college or university.
In December 2008, Michael Pender, with the help of members of Cavanaugh and Company, their clients, and friends, established an endowment in the name of the founder of the firm, Gerald J. Cavanaugh. Mr. Cavanaugh, a CPA in New York State and in Florida has been a mentor and provided inspiration and a home for many in the world of accounting. This endowment was created to perpetuate the legacy Cavanaugh left to the profession and to his community.
